What should I do with this yarn?

fishclaw,
Hello, needing ideas for this yarn. Got them at a thrift store years ago. I don’t know what it is.. I think it is synthetic. I have 175g of the green and 155g of the purple. It’s quite fine but the white thread in the middle seems pretty visable. I’ve never used yarn like this before (ETA I knit)

ISO Boxy knit shirt

hamzoo,
Hi, I saw a pattern last spring for a boxy knit shirt with a loose fit. It was knit in alternating stripes of solid knit (stockinette, garter, or similar) in one color and then a stripe of lace or open work in the second color. The stripes are vertical when wearing the shirt. I think it was knit fr…

They are so lovely, I would like to knit a sweater while knitting with both together. I am not experienced at determining the weight of these combined two yarns, or any ti…

Stripe color help!

jullibelle,
I absolutely love striped sweaters but I struggle with pairing colors for stripes and often end up unhappy with my choices when done. My inspiration for stripes this time is kind of 70s retro vibes, mostly warm tones. Photo 1 shows all the colors of Peer Gynt I purchased. I feel the cream on bottom…
