.. My holiday break project! I played a dangerous game of shrinking in the dryer, which resulted in a purely decorative hood šŸ¤£ but I think itā€™s overall so cute!I used two strands of (different colour) ā€œsilly socksā€ from hobbii, and made it up as I went along (hence the decorative hood).

.. A friend who loves purple just had their baby at 24 weeks. I adapted the vertebrae cardigan down by about a third to make this ridiculously small sweater. Hopefully when the parents are allowed to hold him, itā€™ll be the right size.

Hi, I have in my head a vest with bands of stranded colourwork separated by fairly wide bands of plain knitting. (I was thinking of mainly Shetland Black with other natural colours for the stranded areas.) How would this with in terms of the difference in weight, drape? Iā€™m thinking of a loose garmā€¦

Iā€™ve seen commercial (not handspun) yarns that are advertised as having a chainette structure. What Iā€™m wondering is whether this is just tiny icord. Is there a way to produce such a yarn using handspinning. My searches havenā€™t turned up much.
