I wanted to share my Sophie scarf!

/u/Sola_Bay,
.. You’re all so talented and I feel silly sharing but I’m a relatively new knitter and I’m very proud of this one! I didn’t plan ahead for it, but I saw the pattern and tried it with the materials I had so she came out much larger than even the large Sophie scarf is supposed to be.I used Lionbrand Lo…

Favorite boring knitwear designers?

/u/sophiaaAHHH,
I’ll admit it—I absolutely love knitting boring clothes. I’m a huge fan of PetiteKnit, My Favourite Things Knitwear, and all the other designers who create those simple patterns for sweaters I could probably just as well buy at the mall. That said, I’m looking to branch out and discover some lesser…

scarletcrohet,
I’m looking for a specific slipper/boot pattern. Sentimental need for Christmas gifts for family!! It is white, hexagon short boot slipper. I’m not that good at technology so I don’t know how to show you the picture. Reply with whatever pictures you have and I’ll buy the pattern from you! Tammy Duh…

Explained knitting terms in a way my boyfriend could understand

/u/csmiley17,
I saw a post recently about someone’s boyfriend describing problems at work (a developer issue iirc) using knitting terms. I thought it was so cute. I shared that with MY boyfriend today and he was curious about my knitting terminology so I decided to reverse-engineer the discussion and try to put …

Italianknttngldy,
I have not blocked anything of a major size in over a decade. I need to block my Amara Shawl . It is merino, worsted. I have unscented Eucalan. Now what? How much do I use on it? Should I lay it on a towel on the floor? Do I need to pin it? What about laying it on a trash bag? Can you please help.

Vontex0912,
I am making my daughter a Cake Pop. I will be doing the sample in Red Heart Super Saver. She’s explained to me that she wants it to be in speckled shades of green but I am having a hard time finding the yarn. Any recommendations for color ways?

Knit and turn

Jules2300,
Hi - I’m working on a Christmas stocking pattern where it says to knit a certain number of stitches (not to the end) and “turn”. When I do this - my working yarn is on the left and it then says to purl X number of stitches. I feel like I’m missing something. It doesn’t say to wrap and turn or anyth…
