Finished this sweater for my cousin. Started as a wedding present, but now will be delivered as a divorce present š¤·. She is quite petite, so I shortened the length quite a bit to accommodate, which is why it's a crop top on me š

Also my first colorwork, took me about two weeks. I was really worried about the colorwork being crinkly and uneven, but blocking made everything better!
Someone gave me a bunch of cotton yarn they didn't need. I plan to make potholders, and I want to double knit them. I made one and it turned out fine but with the gauge I get a square is 25 stitches by 40 rows. I usually have more rows than stitches in a square but with this yarn and double knittinā¦
The pattern is Audreyās First Day by Elizabeth Smith. The yarn is Elysian by cascade. I will definitely make it againā¦probably for my other niece.
So proud of myself for pulling off this Christmas gift for my 2.5 year old! And need to share with people who 'get it'.My kiddo loves to point out matching things, especially when he's matching with mom or dad. So I thought he would probably get a kick out of matching with a stuffy too! Can't wait ā¦
Working on my first pair of colorwork gloves. I'm still new to colorwork and tried to use one of those yarn guide tools that sits on your finger. Tension feels a bit iffy. I might go back to dual-handing the yarn but I wanted to share my first go with a new tool!I've also never tried forced color cā¦

The heel is also reinforced šI didnāt make them to fit because I know how to knit with DPNs, and I just wanted to work on the heel techniqā¦

I tend to only knit socks, I've made mittens too but for some reason I'm drawn to socks! These are pairs number 7, 8 and 9 of this fall, EU size 22 so very small, I like trying new things and patterns so knitting smaller socks fits me well š¤

I knit the (bottom up) kids boheme sweater by Randi HjelmAs I was switching to mostly blue area of the sweater, I swapped them (the third ārowā of diamonds from the bottom up.) After an inch or so, I swapped them back. You can see the difference in the diamonds where the white vs blue was carried.Iā¦
